North Korea Tensions

Is the US in a position to inevitably get into a confrontation with the North Korea ? Or will this dissipate it self in time? Many opinions have shown the concern about this matter on so many levels. China has agreed to get some countries involved in the matter to resolve this. Questions have been asked about the many motives North Korea has acted the way they have. Its up to the international community now to set this strait.  
No one wants another war breaking out, but with the way things are going it could. The History of North Korea clearly shows that the leadership needs an improvement.
